We recognise and honour these Champions because they inspire and strengthen our collective movement of mainstreaming natural farming, becoming key levers of change thus making this vision a reality.

It is unanimously understood amongst us that a farmer learns and adopts new and unconventional practices more naturally when a fellow farmer shares their story. Hence we believe identifying and sharing these stories could be key in motivating many more to adopt agroecology based farming. Also, they are central to capacity building programmes and can potentially be master trainers.
