The state team is working with state government on transition towards natural farming. We have 26 and growing civil society organisation partners in the state working with farmers to help transition towards natural farming. An initial organisational mapping has revealed some key areas of work needed in the organisations which include – 

1. Building Seed Systems,
2. Establishing bio-input resource centres,
3. Strengthening market access (including on value addition, processing, consumer awareness),
4. Expanding kitchen garden work,
5. Deepening and documenting work on cultivation practices,
6. Ensuring work retains a social movement character,
7. Work with ‘Champion Farmers’ and develop farmer field schools for extension,
8. Work on cropping patterns
9. Animal related themes
